Kisling, Nestico & Redick Ask For Ways to Stop Texting and Driving

There are times when a personal injury can result in tragedy. It’s worse still when that injury is something completely avoidable. Texting while driving has become such a common practice that many don’t see the obvious dangers of being distracted while behind the wheel until it’s too late. Personal injury law firm Kisling, Nestico & Redick have taken notice, and are looking to promote a solution.

Elianna Norin, an 18-year-old from Hudson, Ohio, was the recipient of a $5,000 scholarship extended by the law firm for her proposal to discourage texting while driving among young people. Elianna was selected from more than 400 entrants to the competition for attention of public service detailed in her proposal.

Joshua Angelotta, a Senior Partner at Kisling, Nestico & Redick, and coincidentally also from Hudson, handed over the scholarship check to Elianna at school. She stated her plans to place the funds towards her college education, helping to cover part of her tuition when she goes to the Savannah College of Art and Design this coming fall to study graphic design and animation.

Kisling, Nestico & Redick is interested in hearing from more young people on how to best address texting while driving. High school students who plan on seeking higher education in 2020 can begin submitting their proposals to Stop Distracted Driving Scholarship all the way until March 31, 2020.About Kisling, Nestico & Redick:
