- gray : A black and white conversion tool that allows independent adjustments of the tones in the shadows, midtones, and highlights.
The gray action provides the ultimate in black and white conversion. It creates an Adjustment Layer structure which allows for separate adjustment of the tonality of the darks, midtones, and highlights, giving full control over the strength of each of the primary colors in each tonal region. Below are five example conversions.
Tonal control is provided by a Color Balance Adjustment Layer which provides a total of 9 separate sliders for adjustment.
